Microdermabrasion Treatments
If your facial skin has lost its youthful glow and become fettered by mild acne, sun damage, large pores, uneven texture or even fine lines and wrinkles, microdermabrasion may be an option worth considering.The Diamond Microdermabrasion gently and effectively revitalizes dull skin, reduces large pores and reduces fine lines! It gently abrades the fine top layer of skin revealing the fresh and baby smooth skin underneath. With several microdermabraion treatments, it speeds up the natural rate of skin cell renewal which improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Depending on your skin type, it is recommended that you get at least 6-10 treatment sessions so as to achieve the desired results.Combined with the Ultrasonic Treatment to stimulate your skin tissue and to promote collagen production through the power of gentle sonic vibrations,provides an effective rejuvenated skin treatment.
These treatments are spaced at two-four week intervals,depending on skin condition.Maintenance microdermabrasion every one to three months is also suggested.
Expect some redness after a treatment session. This typically lasts a few hours and feels like a mild windburn or sunburn. The technician will apply moisturizer to your skin followed by a sunscreen.
Avoid direct sun exposure for one week after your microdermabrasion treatment. Always apply sunscreen that blocks Ultraviolet A and B (UVA and UVB) waves and has a sun protection factor (SPF) of more than 30. Steer clear of skin exfoliation scrubs, as well as products containing alpha hydroxy acids or retinols, for a few days before and after your microdermabrasion treatment. Makeup may be applied immediately after the treatment; mineral makeup is most often recommended.
